Periwinkle (Creeping myrtle, Vinca minor)
This ground covering flowers heavily in early spring with splashes of color throughout the summer and fall. Great for someone looking to cover a large area with low maintenance greenery. Beware, this plant will spill over planters, creep across the ground, and is really only recommended for bedded areas that are highly controlled environments. For conservation sake, avoid using on landscapes that border protected areas or land that is not thoroughly managed. Plants are fully rooted and available for fulfillment upon ordering. Photos show parent plant fully spread out across ground covering, which will happen after a few years.
