English Ivy (Hedera helix)
For those of us in search of a charming indoor vine, or even those with a bit more extreme cottage-core daydreams... English Ivy is great, low maintenance, and will climb and spread, so it makes for a great ground, wall, or fence covering, even in shady wooded areas. That being said, it is also invasive and can pose a risk to native species. Plant this with great care, as you are responsible for finding a home for this specimen that is considerate of delicate local ecosystems. The only reason it is even available on this site is because the suburban residents who planted it failed to properly restrict its growth (given that can be difficult for plants that creep), and now it is being removed from nearby land that is neglected by big corporation/government. Please. for the sake of all of your local trees, hang it in a pot or keep it the center of your yard, surrounded by other plants, like a responsible conservation-minded person. This plant is ready to go, roots and all. Ships upon order. Some leaves may drop in the harvest process. Vines can be re-propagated as well, allowing you to grow a planter or space with thicker and thicker ivy over time.
